Air-Con in Non air-con cars.

Post by terry »

I've been swapping e-mails with a guy called Ossi Bashiri, among other peices of macninery he has an Excel, that he is having refurbed.

He want to install air-con in a non aircon car, I've sent him some pictures of the button controls, but he would some advice on who could do it, and what needs to be done.

Below I've cut and pasted, my last response, but has anyone had it done? By whom?

I'll photocopy the relevant bits from my handbook.

my have been me fitted ac to a 87 car best bet is to go through the parts book the main parts are not a problem there is some extra brackets and spaces on the engine to fit.drifferent inner nose duct so as air conn rad fits 3 belt crank pully main thing that got me was all the wiring was in and fused ready to go ,this seems to be the case on all the later cars i have worked on.whats the year of the car and is he going to fit it himself
terry do you still have some ac bits ? dave
