Roof aerial

Has anyone tryed to change the aerial and cable. It looks as if i shall hafto take the dash out as well as trim, door seal, leather from winscreen post. It looks like a big job. Any advice

the cable does run under the leather on the nearside a post and a foam packing under that, then behind the dash. the dash probably would have to come out just to remove the leather which wont be easy to get out as it is tucked behind the bonded windscreen,
has the cable gone or is it just the aerial

Both the aerial and cable are damaged So it looks like a nother big job.
