Breaking Excel 87 SE

Hi All,

I have sadly decided to break my Excel. Rise in cost of living and all that.

Currently all parts are available.

Some of the nice bits are my full set of AVOs, coilovers on the back and standard adjustables on the front with lowering springs. Front shocks done a few thousand miles rears have probably done 1000 miles - the car rode very nicely on this set up.

I have a recon steering rack, radiator, very good PAS pipes (both)

Stainless exhaust with straight through centre pipe.

Excellent Diff with new mountings (Not LSD)

The list goes on........

Right then I will try to answer all the questions at once :D

The Rear bumper is sold but the front bumper is good I also have the boot lid with the spoiler attached which is also very good.

My wing mirrors are not very good and one is split, I seem to remember that rimmer bros do them for rover SD1 but I am prepared to be completely wrong on that one.

I have the complete interior from the car it is grey with grey tweed cloth. It is that sort of blue-ish grey if you know what I mean. I think personally it is in pretty good condition but it is down to opoinion.

Let me know if you would like to take a look or are seriously interested in the meantime I will have a think about the price, I am a bit busy at work at the mo.

Hey Jon thanks for the response, I'm very interested in the front bumper as i don't have one at all right now and they are very hard to find in the united states. How much would you want for the front bumper and rear spoiler? and how much do you think it would cost to ship it to the united states?

Thanks,
Johnny

Don't know of any excel's here, Mine is a Sprint Eclat. But i want excel bumpers as the US spec eclat bumpers here stick out along way and are ugly 5mph bumpers. cant find any eclat or excel parts here so ive been looking around the uk

AFAIK no Excel made it 'officially' to the States...

But I know of at least 2 others that have sneaked in...

Hi Johnny,

I will try to get a courrier quote but where in the US are you.

I have shipped to europe and usually I just need the country but of course the US is a big place so I expect I would need more detail

Shame about the US bumpers, the one that always makes me cringe is the US spec Lamborghini Countach, oh dear!!
