I had a windscreen changed some 4 years ago by a well known Lotus specialist. He apparently subcontracted this job out to a 'windscreen specialist'. Not too good! The A-pillar cover was cracked quite badly, the inside trim around the screen was cut, and the screen has since developed a leak. When I took the A-pillar cap off I could see large gaps around the screen where it had not been glued. So, my advice is be careful.
I would say this particluar Lotus specialist did some work for me previously, and was great. I'll just be more careful in future if I ever need the screen replaced again.

I HAD MY WINDSCREEN REPLACED THE -07 SUMMER, WITH HELP FROM WINDSCREENPROS, DUE TO A Z CRACK RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, AND FROM BOTTOM TO TOP.
ONE OF THE COVERS ARE NO LONGER AVALIABLE, BUT IF YOU CUT THEM OF BY FISHINGTHREAD VERY CAREFULLY. TOOK ME SOME HOURS DUE TO OLD MATERIAL IN CAR.
THEN THE WINDOW IS MOUNTED AS MOST MODERN CARS. IT IS VERY IMPORTANT YOU GET IT RIGHT AT ONCE, AND LET IT GLUE TOGETHER FOR SOME HOURS, BEFOR YOU DRIVE OF WITH THE CAR.
EXCUSE MY ENGLISH, HOPE THE MESSAGE GOT THOUGH ANYWAY.
