Guys - peter319 and I have been having a conversation in PM about his headlamp pod problem.
The story so far : both pod motors have been taken off and checked against each other's circuit. Both motors are working fine. (thanks to Skeggy's overhaul info.)
Driver's side is AOK, but passenger side will only lift - not retract.
Relays can be heard to click when switches are turned and all fuses are OK.
My thinking - fault in either the retractor control relay (blown diode perhaps ? ) or the retractor relay - either of which means Lotus position in the passenger footwell with a multimeter and/or spanners to diagnose.
Any other thoughts ?

Re: Headlamp pods
I know Im harping on a bit about the same subject, but..... every wierd problem Ive had with my car electically has been down to the relays. Have you tried a new relay. You can sometimes hear the relay working but if the points inside are f....d they wont work.
