Cruise Control on SA

Hi All
Any ideas how to fix the cruise control on a Excel SA 1987 ?
The switches light up ,but the cruise will not set the speed at any speed over 30mph.
Any good ideas were the wiring goes too the autogearbox or

there are multiple cables to the control on the nearside wing and lots of electric wires
Mine was not working and Lotusbits sorted it out for me

hi roger, lotusbits are based in warwickshire near southam give them a call they will sort you out. cheers gerald.

Many thanks ,i have searched for them but can not find their website
I will keep looking ,i will have to make a special trip it is about 300 miles around trim.
I will have to see if anyone up here in Yorkshire can fix it.

Some years ago Chris Foulds in Honley, Huddersfield did an excellent job rebuilding my engine after a shredded cambelt, and has always been very helpful with any advice I've asked for. His website is:

Although a bonus of going to see Mike is he might take you out in his rally car

.......I have just come back from Lotusbits had my universal jont on the steering column and track rod ends replaced... And that was 500mile round trip
