Post by lasjw »

Hi

its a very hot evening to be working on the car but after putting a new barrtery on the car last saturday, out with the kids on Sunday where they helped wash, tcut and polish i thought this morning that she was ready to go but once again she would not start flat battery so must have someting on that is draining the battery but be dammed if i can find it, anyway this is a bodywork question my Lotus it is an 86 SE and i have been trying to get the front bumper off, i have found the large nut and bolt behind the number plate and the 2 rivets in the front wheel arch but can't seem to find any other fittings
Thanks for any advice.

Hi there
Two more bolts behind the indicator/sidelights but can only be reached through the headlight pods

There should also be 3 screws inside each headlamp well, vertically down into the top of the bumper.
