HC 912 pistons and rings & limited slip diff

Post by smithersoli »

Guys, I have 3 hc pistons in perfect condition for re-use plus a brand new set of lotus piston rings £240 plus postage from lotus and my spare LSD for sale.

Please pm me with offers, but I am looking for £200 for the rings £180 for the pistons and £150 for the diff.

Can arrange postage at cost, or deliver if close for petrol money.

Oli

Not 100% sure of age, have cleaned the outisde up with a wire brush and taken the rear cover off to have a look at the teeth and drain the old fluid.

Looked very tidy and clean inside, will try and take some photos tonight to post.

You are welcome to come and have a look Ozzy, we have discussed this before!

I know, and im still on the look out for an LSD, and still building a house... lol!
If it was freshly built i would probably have it, but if theres doubt over age not so sure... cant be having another £600 bill for a rebuild after the first track day!

If it was freshly built I am sure you would want it at £150.

Most lotus specialists will charge you £600 - £800 for a rebuilt LSD, more if you want the TRD one with larger clutch plates and thats if they have them in stock!

Be realistic man. :D

Can't believe no-one is interested in the LSD!!

I have however found a matched piston to my three HC ones, so they are no longer available.

Many thanks as always to Mike Taylor at Lotusbits for coming up trumps!

Now all i need to do is shim the valve clearances and I should have a running car after two years!

Hi,

My first post in here

Do you still have the LSD for sale?

Simplicate, then add lightness.
Adding power makes you faster on the straights. Subtracting weight makes you faster everywhere.
