door to window frame seal

Post by shaunw »

I'm not quite sure what you would call the trim piece I'm talking about but its the piece of foam / rubber type stuff that fits on the front of the quarter light window frame where the frame disappears inside the door. It basically covers the gap between the frame and the door, presumably to keep out wind and rain.

Mine seem to have disintegrated and I'd like to replace them.

I'm presuming I'll have to fashion some type of draught excluder or similar, can anyone give me any pointers, for example, what you have used / pics of what you have done etc?

Regards
Shaun

On mine it's just a piece of foam with some black paint.
