Door latch mechanism - Is it a Toyota part?

The driver's door latch mechanism has gone faulty. The door can be opened using the inside handle with no issue, but pull as you might on the outside handle and it will not release. Nothing has changed on the adjustment rods, all mounting screws are tight to the door beam, and the latch is centered with the loop in the door jamb so I assume the latch is worn out.

Is there anything i missed? If I look for a replacement, was this a standard Toyota part?
