Anybody interested?
4th September, 9.30 am start, meeting at longwater carpark by Pizza Hut.
Going to Cromer.
Suggestion of route:
Pop round the southern bypass to Postwick, via Green Lane to Thorpe end, out on the Plumstea Rd to Honeycomb road, from there through to Wroxham. Then more major roads, Coltsishall, North Walsham to Cromer?
It will be a mix of cars, so far
1) Andy - Excel
2) Fitz - Excel
3) Newts - Turbo Esprit
4) Owen - GT3 Esprit
5) L666 - M100 Elan

Really sorry guys, but it looks like i wont be able to make it
Had a little incident with my daily Peugeot this evening, and its going to take me most of tomorrow to get it sorted.
Also got to rebuild a wall.....
Matt.

Wouldn't be the wall at the end near the garage would it?
Well, at least the reason wasn't that the Lotus timing belt slipped on the run to or from Knebworth (phew).

Not that wall - but a very similar one near my flat....
I blame the fact that the Excel is manual and the Pug is Auto, and i had just got out of the Excel and into the Pug....
Its certainly not just due to the fact that im a crap driver....
Anyway it needs a full exhaust (kinked up near the downpipe), some parts of the rear chassis straightening, and a new bumper / foglamp / valence skin.
Should keep me busy.
Matt.

Owen came up trumps.
It seems he got a couple of good shots of my Excel to esprit push damage, near the LHS rear indicator.
