The Lotus Grand Tourers

Has anyone fitted a rear valance which encloses the exhaust pipes? I mocked an example up in cardboard and it seems to finish the rear of the car off nicely, but I am not sure what it will do to the handling. But perhaps it is too modern for the Excel? Having said that the old square TVR's (Tasmin/420SEAC) had them

Thoughts?

Doubt it would ever look good, the Excel is already a bit arse-heavy with the low set taillamps methinks. Unless you have a sketch or pic that proves otherwise?
