Hi,

Does anyone know if these car mats are any good. It doesn´t seem to cost that much.

I have two sets of those - they're not bad quality and fit well, but the heel pad is on the wrong side (which is why I have 2 - I asked for a set with the pad on the correct side, but they got it wrong again).

i would seriously ask you to reconsider as i had a tailor made set and the throttle pedal got caught under it, luckily my rev limiter kicked in ,but to be honest a sh@t myself and managed to turn the ignition off pretty quickly............never again............it is amazing how quick it gets up there...............

Hi, amarshall

These mats look interesting and I may order a set, however before I do, please explain the comment about the heel pad being on the wrong side eg the passenger side????

Regards, Hami

That's it exactly - the extra pad to cope with increased wear from the driver's feet is stitched onto the mat for the left hand side. I haven't found it to be a problem yet.

I'm interested in these too, any chance you could post up a picture of them in the car?

I have used this company http://www.autostyle.co.uk for many years they are always very good quality they start off at £60 a set for the Excel inc rears and £10 for both front heel pads all in various colours and bindings. They give you a free motif on both fronts if you email them an example with the style of font they will fit it free as long as it's not copywrite such as the Lotus logo. I have just got some in green for my Excel as I wanted a contrast to the tan/beige interior I have a new full carpet set on order from SJ. I found quite a few pics of most I have had so posted some pics to give you an idea of what they can do. I usually try and find the style of font the car logo is in for the motif to match:

Thanks guys they look pretty good. Just to confirm, will both mats come with heal pads or do I need to specify?
