The Lotus Grand Tourers

I have searched am I right in thinking the bolts holding the bonnet on with 2 nuts either side where it pivots are threaded and unscrew out of the bodywork to remove the bonnet? Also I am getting my mechanic pal to replace the cambelt and pulleys has anyone any tips or advice, obviously he knows what he is doing but he has not worked on an Excel before is there anything on the Excel worth knowing to help facilitate?
