The Lotus Grand Tourers

Hi All,

Have listed my Yellow Excel (with burst gaskets following a trackday!!) on Ebay.

The carbs were so well set up it ran better than my other (84) Excel that was bought
near-new from the Lotus Dealer in Norwich.

Sadly, with years passing by and my other Excel needing attention, I've had to
decide to part with the non-runner, but will never forget how great it was on the
one trackday I took it on at Hethel.

I hope someone will bring it back to life, as it doesn't deserve to die!!!

If you know anyone . . . . or might buy it yourself - PLEASE BID!!!

I guessed it was yours when I spotted it on eBay.

It's on Ebay as '1983 Lotus Eclat Yellow'.

Hi Mick, I think we met at Snetterton in 2010. You said 'burst gaskets', - which gaskets have failed?
