Another small problems rears it head :x

I have the same problem Angus did in that the nuts and bolts are turning together

http://www.lotusexcel.net/phpbb/viewtop ... f=8&t=2784

I'm at the final stage now, got the bumper off, had to drill out a screw but managed that, so near yet so far....

I'm not sure if i have a saw capable of cutting through these screws with the bolts around them, any ideas on alternate solutions, have a go at the other end maybe and cut away the reflectors and there clusters from the screws, as i believe this is all plastic?

IIRC that won't help you much - I think there's a bolt head sitting in a casting in the lamp cluster so even if you manage to get the cluster off, you'll still have to remove the bolt.

A cheap hacksaw does the job.

Ok, is there anyway i can bypass cutting the nut, that fastens the bolt on? i probably have something that could do the job if it were just the screw, but the nut is fixed firmly to the base of the screw, meaning at present i have to cut the whole lot off, which is a lot more metal, and i''m guessing the nuts are made of studier stuff than the rusty looking screws
