Lotus Excel SA 1989 for sale

Atlantic green, biege leather interior. 89000 miles, 9 months MOT, 3 months tax - £2600
Very rare car, only around 30 SA models were made and of those only about 15 were made of the later ’89 model year. This may be the only '89 SA ever made in this colour. Originally owned by Lotus and probably the car that featured in their advertising for the SA model.
Good mechanical condition with a reassuringly thick history file. Owned for 2 1/2 years as my driving/project car. Lots of work done on the mechanicals and now drives nicely. Equally happy trundling round the M25 or ragging round the country roads. The auto box kicks down quickly and changes smoothly. The headlining has been replaced and wooden dash has been refurbished but still some work to do on the body and front seats. The Lacquer on the roof is starting to go and some other paint work needs attention. The leather on the bolster of the front seats needs a repair but otherwise the interior is in good condition. A very good stereo system was fitted by the previous owner.

Will be sad to see it go but unfortunately my wife wants a shopping car and my teenage son needs a car to learn to drive in and an automatic lotus doesn't fit the bill.
