Sadly my current situation no longer allows for my Excel. 3 year old twin boys are demanding more of my attention than is fair on the Excel. I've owned it since April 2011, it's my daily driver and has never failed me once.

Good Points

• Water pump replaced with a unit from Lotus bits at 109,275 miles
  Timing belt and tensioner replaced at 109,275 miles
  Power steering pump replaced with a unit from Lotus bits at 109,275 miles
  A/C, Power steering and alternator belts replaced at 109,275 miles
  Tyre replaced at 110,420 miles with Avon ZV3 205/50 R 15
  Alloys refinished at 110,420 miles (I have new centre caps that are not fitted)
  Steering rack gator replaced at 112,010 miles
  Track rod ends replaced at 112,010 miles
  Front brake discs replaced at 112,010 miles
  Front brake pads replaced at 112,010 miles

Bad Points

• Headlining needs replaced (I have the correct material and glue)
  Windscreen starting to de-laminate on the bottom corners
  Headlights work but don't always come down together
  Scrape on the passenger side rear corner
  Small blow in the exhaust felxi connection
  CD changer bracket has pulled out the rear shelf

Nothing that stops the car from being driven but it's not perfect. I would love to have the time to spend fixing these niggles but the kids must come first.
