1989 Excel SA (yes automatic ) for sale

Unfortunately my Lotus has lost a valve and needs an engine rebuild. I am no longer able to do the work and realise its time to part with it. ( I am after all 75 this year! ) I have owned and used this car for the last twenty years and have kept the car in reasonable condition. The bodywork is quite good, the headlining is new, the windscreen is begining to laminate, the exhaust system is stainless steel and fine. The wheels where replaced with factory new about five years ago. Two brand new tyres on the rear fitted by lotusbits this year havent even been down the road yet! The car is mot'd, taxed and insured but will require a trailer to remove it.
The interior is full leather in blue and apart from a repair to the edge of the drivers seat is very good.
The registration number is A 2L XL and it is available seperately or can be included if the price is right.
The engine rebuild will cost £2,500 if done by Lotusbits, the windscreen £150 or thereabouts.
Finally the aircon needs recharging and is currently disconnected by removal of the drive belt.
