Alternator output spec.

Whilst my alternator is off - does anyone have the spec for a 1987 SE non AC excel alternator. Just need to know what the output is.
I have a feeling the non AC is 55A and the AC version is 70A - according to my Elite/Éclat workshop manual?
If I am replacing it and have to spend 120 quid plus for a standard one - I may as well buy a lightweight racing one if it provides enough output :)

Probably should add to this I will be using a high torque starter motor - in theory should draw less current on initial startup.

Answered my own question - 70 amps.
