We have received application forms to put on either a 3-car club display or a 10-15 car special club display.
There is a small charge associated with attendance, but I think we can subsidise/discount this through club funds.

Anyone want to go ?

I can make this date so count me in also (assuming we get enough members to make it worthwhile)

Minimum number required is/was 3 - one more and it can be booked.

Not looking good is it. If we don't get the required cars by next week I will have to pull out anyway as I have other things to arrange. At the moment though, I am still available and up for it. Anyone else fancy making the numbers up?

Angus, as mentioned at Croft, as we don't have the required numbers I am pulling out of this one now. Sorry about that but as was said, we needed 3 at least. Never mind, there's always next year.
Garry.

It's unfortunate. We seem to have a small "core" membership who attend events, but there's a limit to how much time & money any one person can spend on these things.

Three Excels in the "One Make Parking" area on Sunday, and a ratty Éclat 524 in the "For Sale" area (£1850 asked).

Mine was the Calypso Red one. Met the guy 'next door' - very nice bloke (a poster on here), and his mate - with the late-plate Pacific Blue one.
Interestingly, the lacquer had almost completely lifted off his bonnet and roof, although the paint on the rest of the car seemed in excellent nick. And he explained the lacquer coat damage had happened whilst 'protected' under a car cover!! I've actually been toying with getting a cover, but may rethink after seeing that! His interior was excellent - full leather in a very dark grey. But didn't see (or meet) the other Pacific Blue owner.
It was a pretty good Show, despite the cold and overcast conditions (I actually bought and wore some 'vintage' leather gloves during the day, it was so chilly. And many people sitting by their cars swathed in blankets!). Though it was clear that like last year, attendance was down on what it used to be (sign of the recession) and the autojumble seemed a lot smaller.
Always a good day out though.
