Members map?

Hello. I was wondering if anybody fancied joining in with a map of members locations? Not exact addresses, just the town. Thought it might be interesting to see the spread of members. If the moderators are reading, is that ok? Don't want to tread on anyone's toes. I found it useful to know that there is another member round the corner from me.
Cheers, J.

When I use to belong to another forum, we did this and it did bring people together for mini-regional meets which was quite nice. It was entirely optional as some people didn't want to disclose where they lived, which was totally understandable.

+1 to regional map.

Of all the forums i have been on, this is the one with the most info. And the friendliest crowd.

Perhaps only make the map available to others who disclose their locations? Too many classic car thefts at the moment

The map is a good idea, only needs to give vague idea of the area/town we're in.

Hi. I've had a play with google maps. It will only be available to people who know the maps url. So bascially anyone on this forum. You will need a google email address though, to log in. they are free.I'm thinking that people only put the town, not full postcode. At the time being it's not the easiest to use, so I.ll try and make it easier. Cheers for the support.

Just a reminder - every part of the forum is visible to non-members.

Howdy. I've not heard anything against having a map for members, so I presume it's ok.
I not taking any responsiblity for people putting person info. etc. I've just used my user name and put the town.
I've put a legend at the side for easier cross reference.
Feel free to add any suggestions, and I'll see what I can do ( which is usually limited! )

here's the url

click the add button, to add your details. the pass is......surprise surprise..........it's ..... lotus

Hope it works ok.
