Hello Bryan, I have a couple hundred shims including a 0.119, 2x0.082, and 2x0.0825 shims you can have, at £1 each, plus postage. They are in used condition, if they will do for you, let me have your address, I'll post them straight off. Cheers, Jeff.

Hi Jeff, thanks for the offer. As luck would have it, a friend of a friend has just come up trumps with the right shims, so hopefully I'm sorted. From what many people have said on here though, setting the valve clearances often requires more than one attempt, so I may be looking for some more shims shortly...
