These are machined from aircraft grade aluminium and have been anodised to provide a harder surface to resist wear from the belt.
They are 75mm in diameter and weigh just over 130 grams.
Each pulley will be provided with a copy of the metallurgy certification provided with the batch of aluminium.
A copy of the certificate of conformity for the anodising will also be provided.
The use of an underdrive pulley increases the amount available from the engine at low rpms but sacrifices charging of the battery until a higher rpm is achieved.
The actually rpm level at which the alternator will begin to charge will be confirmed next week. I expect this to be between 1300-1600 rpm
