Lotus Excel SE mediterranean blue in very good order

I've had to admit to too many hobbies that consume my time and I'm not driving my Excel anywhere near enough ... I'm near Edinburgh
Lotus Excel SE 1989
The car is very original as you can see from the photos. When I bought it the interior was very tired, it didn’t run very well but it had a great paint job and was mechanically sound, I had an RAC inspection done before I bought the car which confirmed the above. I have done all of the restoration work on the car as I am very good with mechanicals and bodywork. When renewing any of the body work or fittings I have used stainless steel fittings wherever possible to avoid rust problems in the future.
Just had a new MOT, cambelt and tensioner bearing fitted, make me a sensible offer and a good daily driver could be yours.
