Dear Colleague,

NATIONAL CAR CLUB AWARDS 2016 - OPEN FOR ENTRIES

WHAT: NATIONAL CAR CLUB AWARDS 2016
WHEN: SATURDAY 5TH MARCH 2016
WHERE: CONCOURSE SUITE, NEC, BIRMINGHAM

I understand from Alison Judge that you will be participating with a club stand at the Practical Classics Restoration and Classic Car Show where we are proud to announce the inaugural National Car Club Awards in association with Tourism Ireland which brings together and awards the leading classic car and vehicle clubs and personalities from all around the UK and Ireland. I would like to cordially invite you to enter the National Car Club Awards for 2016

The National Car Club Awards are held in association with Tourism Ireland, supported by Classic Car Weekly and endorsed by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs.

The inaugural awards will be held at the NEC, Birmingham and hosted alongside the Practical Classics Restoration and Classic Car Show.

Two members from every club shortlisted for an award will be invited to attend as guests of the National Car Club Awards in association with Tourism Ireland - the winners will be announced on the night of the awards.

The event will also present a lifetime achievement award to a person who has dedicated significant time and effort to the classic vehicle community and achieved remarkable accomplishments that have helped the club and/or the classic car movement to grow and to develop.

The evening will include a drinks reception, three course seated dinner and awards presentation hosted by Mike Brewer from Discovery Channel’s Wheeler Dealers – and of course there is also plenty of socialising to be done afterwards. Make sure your car club or colleagues receive the recognition they deserve by entering them into the inaugural National Car Club Awards 2016 now!

I note from the July edition of Classic Motor Monthly that an Excel won the award for "Best 1987 Car" at the Tatton Park Classic & Performace Car Spectacular last month. The photograph certainly shows a very nice example. All good publicity for these models!
