A bit short notice - but Mr. Moss will be there with the Sporting Bears, so a bit of (im)moral support from the local wedges could be a good idea.

Anyone fancy it?

I should be up for that.
I could always do a "practice" run the week before

OK - booked a few places just in case any other locals fancy coming along.

Same arrangements for meeting as last time?

Just for the record Claire has her own set of Excel keys. I'll have you know I'm a 21st century , fully diverse bloke who believes that women are almost equal to men  .

Yup. Meet around 10 a.m. in Staindrop as before. I haven't received passes yet - but I'm pursuing them.

I've booked for 4 cars, so we have room for a couple more if anyone else fancies it.

Passes now received. His fancy new high-tech interweb system needed a kick ;)

Might (almost definitely) pop-in on my bike. Cycling partner has gone off on his tandem with his wife in the North York Moors so I'm Billy no-mates for tomorrow.

Excel has new clutch, lightened flywheel, new PAS, new brake lines and the engine is now back in but I'm waiting on the Chinese ally rad, some silcone hoses then a new MOT, all this is holding up doing a MOT for the Clan too -otherwise I could have driven over in something Red and noisy!

If I put a Lotus sticker on the push bike do you think they'd let me in for free?

I have a couple of spare passes. You have 22.5 hours...

I now have 4 spare passes. I'm not going to make it in the proper car, but I'll borrow the boss's mafiamobile to drop passes off in Staindrop in the morning if anyone wants them.

Well I went on the push-bike - -just a 35 mile round trip this time (averaged 14.7 mph) - (northerly headwind + hilly).

Saw one Excel Celebration (but not owner). One blue metallic Eclat (no owner), couple of Elans, and a red S2 Esprit.

Loadsa Jags and Triumph TRs (and Stags) - a couple of TR8 wedges (which were VERY nice). A lot of trailer queens with notes not to leave finger prints (don't touch) - The used and abused ones were much more interesting tbh.

Nice collection of classic steel-framed push-bikes (didn't expect that!).

Walked around for about an hour (between 12:30 - 1:30) - didn't buy anything (apart from admission fee) -got a bit chilly so got back on the bike and rode home with a cross-tail wind.

My Celebration was with the Sporting Bears Dream Rides.
