Plugs and leads for S1 éclat

Post by Alan_M »

Recommissioning a 79 S1 at the moment. From the service manual it should originally have had Campion N7Y which are a non resistor plug, but it had NGK BPR6ES - a resistor plug.

Checked the leads and they look like the original ones, which I believe are the resister type and did have quite a high resistance.

So, should I go standard HT leads and resistor plugs, or what would be the best combination of plugs and leads?

Currently running on points, but plan on looking at something like Accuspark in the future.
