Excel GXI 667 - anyone know where?

Hi all!

I am looking for a red Excel reg GXI 667. This used to belong to my dear uncle and I would love to make it my own! Unfortunately I can see it has been off the road since 2005, and I even wrote to the DVLA who, whilst sympathising with my request were not able to tell me where this was last registered.

This is a long shot, and my last hope really so if anyone know where this car ended up, I would be so grateful to hear from you!

Eric : I'm building a register of known cars, but sorry to say this wasn't on yet. Most likely lost in someone's garage awaiting a "barnfind". On average, 1 per month surface in this way just on Ebay.

Since that is a non-standard number plate there is also the possibility that the plate has been sold/transferred, and the car now wears a different plate (if it is still around).

Fair point Richard, but the plate is still on an Excel, so probability is it is the same car.
