Anyone fancy a foray out to see if these meetings actually happen ? According to my calendar, the next one is this week.

I see it's still quoted as the Newburn motor museum which I thought was closed years ago. I would check with the area rep first

Museum still seems to be there : http://www.visitnortheastengland.com/si ... eum-p25301 (if I have the right one) and I now have a name & number for the Club Lotus rep. so I'll give him a ring this evening to see what the story is.

Status update - as far as Bill Stoves (the area leader) knows the museum is still shut and there have been no CL meetings for a while. He is trying to get something organised for Saturdays and has promised to contact me as soon as he makes progress.

Meanwhile - nothing to stop us doing our own thing, or seeing if NELOC would appreciate some newcomers.
