Not starting
Hi just bought a 1986 excel se and i am having starting problems. There is no 12volt ignition to starter solenoid, i think it may be the starter relay but i am not sure which one is the starter relay. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks.

Re: Not starting
Hi,
From the manual, the "start drop out" relay is the back right of the lefthand tray under the steering wheel behind the fascia access panel. No other starter relays mentioned.
Hope this helps
Ted

Re: Not starting
Check the others while you're down there - chances are most of them have gone the same way. Better to replace them now before something fails.spuddywood wrote:Hi Ted Thanks for that it was the one you said and it was full of rust. Replaced it and now starts ok,![]()
