Rusty door window frame sections

Post by jasonc00001 »

Hello all,

Now before I do a scrap run this week I've found the remenants of the door window frames / channels that I've stripped from an Excel.

There are only straight lengths (where the top and bottom have rusted away) , but may be usefull to weld in place of rusted channel. (reminds me of fitting cavalier doors ((how old am I)) and having to cut the window frame to fit the car).

I'll try and get a picture Sunday and post accordingly.

If anyone is interested , please post a reply, or they'll go with everything else.

Happy Excel-ing !

Jason C.

Hi,
I could be interested in that. I need a section about 6" long to cut and weld into my rusted frame. Are you looking to offload them as a whole or would you be happy to split them?

Also looking at your location, I think picking them up would be out of the question :D Would you be happy to post a section?

Drop me a PM if you like,
Thanks,
Andy.

Andy,

Can post no problem. If your only after a short length I'll post and you can paypal me after.

Was going to leave it up just incase other members needed sections.

If you can see the bit you want in the pictures , let me know and I'll cut it off.

Hope that helps !

Jason,

If you can get a non rusty section from a 'straight' bit (not the curved vertical pieces) about 6" to 8" long then that would be great thanks.

I'll pm you my address if the above is ok with you.

Thanks,

Andy.
