My 1989 Excel SA is now on ebay starting at £1900 with no reserve. 12 Months MOT and tax to the end of September. Best described as a Project that you can enjoy driving while you work on it.
It didn't sell for £1900 which is gutting but it has got to go. If anyone wants it for £1600 which is the price that Lotusbits want for just the engine let me know.
It'snotthatI can't do it, it's just thatI don'tknowhow.
Looking at the specs in my Excel handbook the auto has a higher top gear ratio than the manual Excel (25mph/1000rpm vs 22mph/1000rpm) does this mean its faster? Or does the different diff ratio negate this?
It's a fantastic colour and will no doubt fly out the door when it's finished. TBH 2k on top is what most people would have to pay for a good paint job anyway.
What is more of concern is there is no mention of the insurance category "C" applied, or all the faults from the original advert. This is where the next owner may get conned a bit.
