Car positioning at Hethel

I wonder if car positioning (and maybe arrival times) differ depending on the source of the ticket. The club tickets come with a green car sticker ands an instruction to arrive between 7.30 am and 9.00 am.

If non-club stickers are different then you may have to negotiate your way to our pitch, as well as arriving at the time specified for clubs.

I believe we still have unused spaces - is that right Angus? It would be particularly good to have new member Colin join us with his immaculate 1974 Elite.

I hope I'm worrying about nothing....

Looking forward to Saturday - the forecast is glorious.

Richard

The yellow stickers also state arrival between 7.30 and 9.00. Don't know about the red ones.

From what I've read, depending on the colour, you will be directed where to park. I doubt you will get into the club (green) area with a yellow sticker. There is a site plan on the Lotus70 website.

I'm driving past Warwick tomorrow afternoon (A46) or Fosse way. Can you be available?

Although your car colour will dictate your parking position - people tickets are people tickets.

Thanks that’s brilliant - i can certainly be available and I’m happy to meet you somewhere convienient to you. Fosse way or A46 equally as good. I have the green car pass so that’s sorted.

I will plan to be on site from 7.30am on Saturday and will try to wait by the entrance (marshals permitting) with any green stickers that Angus still has available.

Could anybody who has a different colour sticker and wants to be on the club pitch please pm me with their mobile number. I'll reply with mine and I'll attempt to meet you as you come in.

Thanks, Richard

Alan M and myself will be travelling from the Duxford area in the morning. We are planning to meet Richard Gosling en route for a transfer of passengers. Richard suggested the Thetford Premier Inn car park at 8.15, then its 25 mins to Hethel. Sounds like a good plan to me...

Do we think they will ridgidly enforce two people per car even if (all 3 in my case) have tickets ?? :? Can't see it myself as long as everyone in the car has a ticket.
