Do we think they will ridgidly enforce two people per car even if (all 3 in my case) have tickets ?? :? Can't see it myself as long as everyone in the car has a ticket.
I guess we will find out! Even with one passenger transfer I will still have 3 in my car, all with tickets.

Just back from Hethel and I can say that it was a very good day, especially to see that Lotus seems to be in good hands with Geely, with new investment happening on a serious scale.

We were blessed with the weather as well, which helps!

It's a shame for Angus that he couldn't come down in the end. I think we all felt sorry about that.

I did go round taking pictures of any Oliver Winterbottom Lotus I could find, and will try to create a montage that I'll post here when I have some time to wrestle with my computer. There were plenty there, both on the Club pitch and on the Lotus track where all the other visiting Lotuses were parked. There must have been a mile of them, all parked three abreast.

The banner over the entrance contained a message welcoming us back next year, so maybe this is the first of a new series of Lotus festivals.

Also I think that the warnings over regalia were a false alarm as most of the other clubs there had their banners out! There didn't seem to be any policing going on.

Anyway, great as always to meet fellow owners!

I'm just the keeper of the cheque book and worrier about insurance. You can have more fun when I'm not there.

Fingers crossed for a flood of entries for the calendar competition. You have until Friday to get them in.

I would have loved to have attended. At least there is some good video coverage for those of us who couldn't make it.

Echo the comments by others above. What a fantastic day.
I have some photos of the day which I'll post here when I get back home at the end of next week.

I can see myself on here at the end driving at 10mph round the track for the record attempt. Does anyone know the result of the record attempt?
