Quick cable query

Just a quick one - how does the cable drive come out of the rear of the gearbox? I have taken the bolt out, with the associated shim/washer - do I just pull the cable now?

It was getting dark when I got to this part, so I couldn't see properly. If I look later in the daylight today after work and it is obvious, then I apologise, but I thought I'd take this moment just to ask!

Oh how being able to see what you're doing helps!

The cable comes out with ease after you unscrew the knurled ring it runs through.
