Hi there

Just joined as a new member following the purchase of an 89 Excel SE in black with only 37k miles. I have owned at least one lotus for the last 35 years but first time with an Excel. Picked it up from the previous owner (who was a delight to deal with btw) just before a family holiday, couldn't wait to get back and am now really enjoying the experience. Great sound and far more comfortable for a daily driver than I had envisaged. Passenger window not working and already replaced battery but hey-ho that's why we love them!

Have tried to post a couple of pictures kindly supplied by the PO but struggling with Onedrive - will persevere though....

My list would look similar if I had the spare dosh. I've been a road club cyclist for past 32 years - would love to own that bike!


With 1Drive right click on the photo in its folder and choose 'more sharing options'. Once logged into 1Drive online, choose 'embed' (above photo to upload) . Press 'Generate' then copy and paste the ENTIRE code between two [img] tags on here.

I find sometimes the 'embed' option isn't obvious in 1Drive - -just click around to change picture display modes to make it re-appear...

Thanks for the welcome - really enjoying my first few weeks with the Excel. I have been stopped a number of times when parking with people interested in the car - guess you guys are used to it!

I have given up on Onenote but hope something appears below from Dropbox.

John - I understand from the PO that the car spent most of its life in Wolverhampton so wonder if you have come across it as not too far away?
