Late Excel Exterior Door Handle Flap

After repairing the handle... it has broke, but not in the usual place.

The lug of the handle/flap has broken off. Has anyone had this part break before & repaired successfully? Or has anybody an old unit that the part could be salvaged from?

Photos to follow if what I'm saying isn't clear.

Driver's side RH, Toyota officially LH.
