Hi, found fuel leaking onto center box !! on inspection weights on prop damaged fuel line !! Can the fuel line be replaced without taking her to bits? What is the best option ? Fuel line no longer available from LOTUS !!!

You can still get the fuel line for the later model c.£80 from memory

You have to remove exhaust section to replace the full e2e line.

I have just bought the Lotus fuel line through SJS and once I have found out what the inner and outer dimensions of the line are, I'll get a connector and just change the carb end section down to somewhere around the gear box. Next time the exhaust is off, I'll replace the rest.

Guys do you remember what the inside and outside diameters where on this hose?

i think i need to replace mine...

(have searched sit, but cant find figures, just lots of Speak to Mike, or SJS for replacement....)

i want to buy replacement hose to match the existing hose i have...

Dan Jarvis, measured his spares Eclat and found 'with my very near gauge, it is 9.6mm O/D and 6mmI/D, hope this helps'.

Demon tweeks do a hard wall alluminium pvc coated fuel line 10mm od from memory with fittings to go to braided hose, or just use black rubber injection hose and jubilee clips either end of the hardwall.

i was looking at the blue cotton overbraid stuff... (it is the low pressure version i want isnt it?)
