Is there any way of opening up the VDO instruments?
I've been swearing and cursing at the clock and been nothing short of smashing it open! But I remembered it was part of my Lotus and relented!
I'd like to see if I can fix my clock - it works but altering the time only seems to effect the hour hand, even though the hour hand moves when it should normally.
Also i'd like to paint over the needles and figures/markings with clear uv active paint, so you can't tell in the light, and a uv lamp so they glow in the dark. Obviously i'd would do away with the instrument bulbs and wire the uv into the dash lights (would have to isolate from the rheostat).
Cheers guys,
Regards

You can't get into the clock. Oh, you can - but it will look like a baked beans can afterwards.
Get a new one from Lotusbits for a fiver or so.
