Hopefully found the cause of the misfire- How did it run?

I've been blaming a misfire on fuel blockage, it did not seem to manifest unless it was constant speed, it went (or appeared to) under acceleration.

I decided to check a few bits prior to the coastal run next weekend and found a few issues.
The rotor arm seemed to be approx .5mm shorter than another Lucas one with the same part number.
The dissy cap lower clip was not on correctly, it was pressed against part of the engine (which stopped if falling out completely) , so the bottom of the dissy cap was able to move approx 6mm away from the dissy.
The plug lead for one cylinder was not secure in the dissy cap and was held loosely in place by its rubber boot.

Hopefully with those bits sorted the misfire will now go away, and it may even get a little bit more power to the wheels.
