Has anyone opened the speedo?
I would like to recalibrate it.
I think the bezel is screwed on the housing but the trip reset is making it impossible to turn the bezel.

Re: speedometer
Sorry Hans the bezel is crimped to the body of the speedo the only way in is to carefully lever the edge of the bezel all the way round until it comes off.

Re: speedometer
If you want your speedo calibrated you could try SpeedyCables see;
http://www.speedycables.com/calibration.html
I haven't used the calibration service but they made me a replacement speedo cable at a very reasonable price.

It's not that I can't do it, it's just that I don't know how.
