Re: Elite for a light restoration
I have to confess that I cannot always fathom the mentality of people.
For £200 the only thing that will happen is that it will be HIABed onto a low lowder and run down to the scrappy, at a loss as there wont be sufficient weight in what metal there is to make £200...
Spares? The interior looks borked, you wouldnt trust the brake components to be reused and the incomplete engine will, probably, be toast. Restoration? Ha ha!!
That leaves a few odds and ends to keep for your own car. Crazy.
While I am in flow, It bugs the hell out of me when sellers use the hackneyed expression " if it doesnt sell I will break it".
So break the damn car, you clearly have no sentimental attachment to it and are not interested in selling it for a price to somebody who will bring the car to life, something you profess to desire for it but prefer to hold a gun to its head "Buy dis car or it dies!!!!!"
Utter cobblers!

At least he didn't put 'First to see will buy'.
"I never let progress get in the way of my reluctance to change"
